ANDORRA RECONEIX KOSOVA

A continuació reprodueixo íntegrament el post del Ministeri d'Afers Exteriors de Kosovo, on s'anuncia que Andorra ha reconegut oficialment Kosovo com a estat independent. Andorra és el 76è estat que fa aquest pas.



The Principality of Andorra recognizes Kosovo’s independence
Prishtina, 08 June – The Principality of Andorra has officially recognized the sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo, increasing the number of recognitions to 76. Official confirmation has been sent to the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Brussels.







This recognition comes at a time when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, is working to the maximum to conclude the process of recognition.

The Principality of Andorra, established in 1278, is in the south-west of Europe, to the east of the Pyrenees, on the border of Spain and France. Its capital is Andorra la Vella.

Andorra is a prosperous state, mostly due to tourism, and has about 10 million visitors a year. It is not part of the European Union, but the Euro is the de facto currency of this state.

Andorra is a democratic state, with a representative parliamentary multi-party system.

The role of the monarchy in this principality is exercised together by two princes, the President of the Republic of France and the Bishop of Urgell, Catalonia, Spain.

Andorra is a full member of the United Nations, OSCE, and has a special relationship with the European Union.
