SPAIN IS PAIN!

Paul Krugman, el reconegut economista i editorialista del New York Times, va ser el creador d'aquesta frase que en el dia d'avui és més certa que mai. Dues notícies m'ho confirmen.

La primera l'he escoltada a la ràdio, que m'ha derivat cap a Vilaweb, on es fan ressò del contingut d'un Report elaborat pel Departament d'Estat, on es dissenya una estratègia de control internacional dels narcòtics. En el document, s'analitzen aquells països que tenen un protagonisme especial en el narcotràfic. En les pàgines 564 a 567 del primer volum del report, podem trobar els següents fragments, que no tenen desperdici:

"Spain remains the primary transshipment point and an important market for cocaine imported into Europe from South and Central America. Spain continues to be the largest consumer of cocaine in the European Union (EU), with 3 percent of the Spanish population consuming it on a regular basis, although in 2009 the Spanish government maintained that domestic cocaine consumption is no longer on the increase.

(...) By most reports, Spain remains the principal entry, transshipment, and consumption zone for the large quantities of South American cocaine and Moroccan cannabis destined for European consumer markets. However, Spain disputed a November 2009 report by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction that Spain is still the largest consumer of cocaine in the EU, arguing that the findings did not take into account the latest data on Spain’s efforts to curb consumption. Spain is also a major source and transit location for drug proceeds returning to South and Central America. Colombia continues to be Spain’s largest supplier of cocaine from Latin America.

(...) Spain continues to face a sustained flow of hashish from its southern neighbors, Morocco and Algeria. Maritime smuggling of hashish across the Mediterranean Sea is a very large-scale business. Spanish police continued to seize multi-ton loads of Moroccan hashish, some of which is brought into Spain by illegal immigrants. The majority of heroin that arrives in Spain is transported via the “Balkan Route” from Turkey, although Security Forces in 2008 noticed efforts to transport it into Spain by boat. The Spanish National Police have identified Turkish trafficking organizations that distribute the heroin once it is smuggled into Spain. Illicit refining and manufacturing of drugs in Spain is minimal, although small- scale laboratories of synthetic drugs such as LSD are discovered and destroyed each year. MDMA- Ecstasy labs are rare and unnecessary in Spain as MDMA labs in the Netherlands prefer shipping the final product to Spain. One interesting Ecstasy trafficking trend has been to transship small quantities to the U.S. through cities in Spain to foil U.S. Customs inspectors who are wary of packages mailed from Belgium or the Netherlands.

També es fa referència a la corrupció policial, concretament a la Guàrdia Civil,

(...) For example, in early 2009 authorities arrested nearly a dozen Civil Guard officers, including a Lieutenant Colonel, in the Barcelona area for ties to drug traffickers dating back to the mid-1990s. The officers are accused of tipping off thieves on drug shipments so that they could steal and re-sell the goods and divide the spoils. The case, with 27 defendants, went to trial in November 2009.

Encara n'hi ha més,

"Spain is the major gateway to Europe for cocaine coming from Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. Traffickers exploit Spain’s close historic and linguistic ties with Latin America and its extensive coastlines to transport drugs for consumption in Spain or distribution to other parts of Europe. The DEA reports that Colombian cocaine continues to be sent first to Africa and then smuggled northward into Spain. Spanish police note that the country’s two principal international airports, Madrid’s Barajas and Barcelona’s El Prat, are increasingly entry points for much of the cocaine trafficked into and through Spain, and substantial numbers of body cavity smugglers continue arriving by air. Those two airports remain key transit points for passengers who intend to traffic Ecstasy and other synthetic drugs, mainly produced in Europe, to the United States.

(...) Spain remains a major transit point to Europe for hashish from Morocco, and Spain’s North African enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla are principal points of departure".

En el volum 2 del report, s'analitza el blanqueig de diners del narcotràfic. Aquí també Ecspanya surt ben retratada. Concretament a les pàgines 194 a 198.

"Spain is a major European center of money laundering activities as well as a major gateway for illicit narcotics. Drug proceeds from other regions enter Spain as well, particularly proceeds from Afghan hashish entering from Morocco, cocaine entering from Latin America, and heroin entering from Turkey and the Netherlands. Tax evasion in internal markets and the smuggling of goods along the coastline also continue to be sources of illicit funds in Spain. The smuggling of electronics and tobacco from Gibraltar remains an ongoing problem. Passengers traveling from Spain to Latin America reportedly smuggle sizeable sums of bulk cash. Colombian cartels reportedly use proceeds from drug sales in Spain to purchase goods in Asia. They subsequently sell these goods legally in Colombia or at stores run by drug cartels in Europe. Credit card balances are paid in Spanish banks for charges made in Latin America, and money deposited in Spanish banks is withdrawn in Colombia through ATM networks.

An unknown percentage of drug trafficking proceeds are invested in Spanish real estate, particularly in the once-booming coastal areas in the south and east of the country. Up to twenty percent of the 500 euro notes in use in Europe were reported to be in circulation in Spain during 2009, directly linked to the purchase of real estate to launder money. Efforts by Spain’s tax authority to deter fraudulent activity involving these large bank notes have kept the number of 500 euro notes at October 2008 levels (around 110 million notes)"

Brutal, no? Dient-ho clarament, Ecspanya és la cruïlla del tràfic internacional de narcòtics. I en aquest sentit, posa en perill tot l'Espai Schengen. Per més inri, un 20% de tots els bitllets de 500 euros (els coneguts com a "Bin Laden") del món es troben a l'estat ecspanyol. Increïble! I tot això lligat amb el sector immobiliari, naturalment.

Per acabar-ho d'adobar, el report utilitza l'acrònim GOS per referir-se al govern espanyol (Government of Spain). Quan ho he llegit, m'he trencat el pit de riure. Si no ho han fet, juro que ho patento!

Però això no és tot. Pel 3/24 m'ha assabentat que s'han detingut a diferents indrets de l'estat, tres persones relacionades amb una xarxa cibercriminal que duia el nom, en espanyol de Mariposa. Era una xarxa que tenia infectats la increïble xifra de 13 milions d'ordinadors, als quals havia convertit en zombies, a través dels quals havien aconseguit dades de 800.000 persones de 190 països diferents, i havien afectat a 50 de les empreses que figuren en FORTUNE 100.

Segons he llegit, els seus cervells haurien pogut fer un mal irreperable a qualsevol país o sector econòmic so n'haguessin tingut la voluntat. Aparentment, però, els seus objectius no eren polítics, sinó exclusivament crematístics (la pela, vaja). De fet, els seus ingressos eren relativament modestos (3.o00 euros mensuals) amb la intenció de no despertar sospites, de manera que mantenien un perfil baix.

Qui va aixecar la llebre, naturalment, no van ser els ecspanyols, si no una empresa canadenca de seguretat informàtica.

Tant el report sobre la droga, com la notícia de la xarxa cibercriminal desarticulada, assenyalen clarament l'Estat ecspanyol com un mal soci, algú amb el qual no s'hi pot confiar. Els seus partenaires són cada cop més conscients que els ecspanyols són com un gra de pus que cal desbridar (en expressió feliç d'en Joan Carretero). Spain is Pain!

I els catalans, si volem que no ens taqui la merda ecspanyola, ens hem d'independitzar el més aviat possible.
